Welcome to The Carlsbad Danish Bakery. Opened in 1984, Carlsbad Danish Bakery is a full service bakery located in the village of Carlsbad in the north coastal area of San Diego county. The bakery is family owned and operated. A landmark with locals, we have a long standing tradition of creating genuine Danish delicacies as well as classic treats with no added preservatives; hand crafted and fresh daily. Our Danish, coffee cakes and breads are baked fresh daily with our bake staff typically starting at 3am. The taste is light, tender, flakey, and moist. Our goal is to provide our customers with classic baked goods in a warm, friendly atmosphere. By baking all our products on-site, we fill our store with the delicious smells of fresh cakes and pies to bring back that delightful, warm feeling of Grandma’s kitchen.
We offer a variety of pastries, muffins, cookies, breads, desserts and cakes for all occasions including weddings. We invite you tantalize your taste buds with one of our handcrafted tasty treats!
